Posture Is The Key To Fixing Back Pain

This research paper [below] shows how the Psoas Major Muscle exerts huge compression and sheer forces on our low spine resulting in crumpling and severely shearing the lumbar spine.

This 3-year study into back pain across the globe published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet reports that our current treatments for back pain are lacking in evidence of effectiveness. See article below

LANCET ARTICLE low back pain

A 41 year old Professional woman with a 4 year history of back and leg pain came to see us.

Her other concern was her posture.

She reported her back pain was hindering her ability to look after her 4 year old son.

She wanted to start working out in the gym and start the yoga class she used to do

but her back pain was preventing this.

On checking her movements and posture, she had a short leg and her low back movement was restricted.  Her trunk movement was restricted 40% and her neck movement was restricted 75%.

These restrictions are typical of people with back pain, because the back pain is caused from Bad Posture.

So how do we get Bad Posture?

Our Postural Muscles that attach to our spine are responsible for bad posture.

The postural muscles are constantly under compression forces.  The compression forces come from repetitive sitting.  If you think about how much sitting we do from the time we are babies right through school, then work or university, it’s a long long time of sitting.  When we travel we sit, when we entertain we sit and we sit to watch TV and play computer games.

After the Soaz treatement and return to exercise, this lady reported after working out she was recovering better and quicker

Why is she recovering quicker after exercise?

When our Postural muscles are treated correctly, they enable the body to work more efficiently and effectively. Therefore the blood and lymph are able to surge through the muscles more effectively and this ignites the nerves that feed these muscles.

So post Soaz treatment, this lady has no back pain and she is recovering quicker.
