Don’t Accept the Standard Treatment for Back Pain
Don’t accept the standard treatment for back pain! What is the standard treatment for Back pain? It is to treat where pain is felt. Where the pain is felt is not where the problem is, this is just a symptom. So treating the pain will only deliver short term inferior results that will return again and again.
The Medical Journal The Lancet States That We Need a New Direction In Treating Back Pain
“Low back pain is a major global problem that is getting worse as the population increases and ages. In March this year, The Lancet published a series of three papers on the global impact of low back pain that, respectively, present the challenges and causes of low back pain, the evidence for the effectiveness of current treatments, and a call for action for change”
I almost Left The Physio Profession
One of the first placements when I graduated was working at the Holden car manufacturing plant in Adelaide. The men that we treated usually had chronic low back pain. We would treat them and then not long after they would return with the same low back problem sometimes in two or three weeks. This did not sit well with me. I expected when I became a physiotherapist, that people would get better not keep returning with the same problem on a regular basis.
The Soaz Method Gets Long Term Back Pain Resolution
It was from my placement working on men from the Holden plant that I started to look around for a better way to treat these men. I started to do more courses outside of physiotherapy and started to look into what research was out there.
In 2005 I found the Research That Changed Everything
From the time I started to find a better way to treat back pain I have been on a journey that has led me to where I am today. This journey has resulted in my own method The Soaz Method that is seeing evolutionary results for back and many more areas of the body. So don’t accept the standard treatment for back pain!

I’ve spent thousands of dollars on massage, acupuncture, physiotherapy, stretching, yoga, and strength work over the years to try and resolve my tight hip flexors, and knee and lower back pain issues.
