Flying Soon Beware of Leg Clots 

Deep Vein Thrombosis ( DVT ) is a condition that comes about when the leg muscles are not able to pump the blood from  the legs. The stasis or pooling of the blood is caused by prolonged periods of sitting where it is impractical or impossible to get up and move around. This can occur when flying or travelling in a car.
